                 =======================================
                      DBScroll - Grid Component
                 =======================================

The DBScroll Grid Control is a replacement and enhancement for Delphis
DBGrid. This native VCL component combines the TFields and the Grid-
area in one control.

Advantages of DBScroll in comparison to DBGrid
 - FAST
 - FLICKER FREE
 - multiple lines per row possible
 - row height / column width can be changed by mouse
 - shows the contents of memo database fields
 - fully supports ScrollBar for Paradox tables
 - ScrollBar can be hidden
 - can ReSort the table by a single click in the Header
 - supports all colors (also in 256 color modes)
 - individual rows / cells can be shown by specific colors
 - better support for Drag & Drop
 - the Sel(ection)Field shows the text of the current
   selected cell or row, like a statusline
 - built in SearchBox for incremental search
 - margins can be defined for the cells
 - all mouse events (OnClick, OnMouseDown, OnMouseMove,
   OnMouseUp) are available and published
 - the registered full version can be used with Delphi 1.0
   (16-bit version) and Delphi 2.0 (32-bit version)
   So it's easy for you to share your projects with the
   different Delphi versions. A simple recompile does the job!

Disadvantages (of ver 1.x) in comparison to DBGrid:
 - the table can't be edited within the grid
 - columns can't be moved with the mouse

                             Installation
                             ============

* Add component to Delphi VCL library via Delphi's "Options", "Install
  Components" menu option.
